Add a URL to Quicktabs

Hello, since we don't have access to the PHP, is there another way to make a quicktab tab go to a URL instead of a block/view/etc? Such as what this patch does - https://www.drupal.org/node/426736

That patch suggestion was for D6 and wasn't adopted. I'm not aware of a way to do what you're descrbing in the D7 version of Quicktabs. Maybe there's a way you can place an external link onto your page that resembles a Quicktab?
