How can I add lines to the <head> section in the html code? Specifically, I would like to add <link rel="profile" href="http://microformats.org/profile/hcard"> in order to use micro formats in my site.

I don't believe we can, since Drupal Cloud users can't 1) alter the template files or 2) install custom modules.
