With the launch of the MIT Sites service, Drupal Cloud is being phased out. Effective January 2, 2024, no new Drupal Cloud sites will be created. Students, faculty, and staff are invited to visit sites.mit.edu to create a new MIT website.
I would like to display email addresses as unicode in the html to prevent email harvesters from recognizing them.

1. Try creating a custom Text format (under Configuration) that has no filters and use that. If that doesn't work, then it's likely a behavior you can't change.
2. https://stackoverflow.com/questions/483212/effective-method-to-hide-emai... has some interesting ideas on other ways to hide your email from spambots.

By the way, you may also want to consider using a contact form (optionally with captcha) instead of displaying your email address on the site.
