On drupal.org there are modules that let you show a map and drop pins on locations. We do experiments all over the world, it would be neat to show where experiments have been performed.
For example: https://drupal.org/project/wysiwyg_map

With the launch of the MIT Sites service, Drupal Cloud is being phased out. Effective January 2, 2024, no new Drupal Cloud sites will be created. Students, faculty, and staff are invited to visit sites.mit.edu to create a new MIT website.

Hi Jen!
We're actually close to releasing a module that does exactly what you describe! It's custom tailored to not only work with locations around the world, but also relevant MIT specific locations.
We're hoping to have this implemented sometime in November. Stay tuned for more info!
