Can anybody tell me how to increase the maximum file size for upload from the default (8Mb?) to, say, 300 MB? I have .avi movies created by MATLAB that are pretty big ... Thanks!

With the launch of the MIT Sites service, Drupal Cloud is being phased out. Effective January 2, 2024, no new Drupal Cloud sites will be created. Students, faculty, and staff are invited to visit sites.mit.edu to create a new MIT website.

That file limit is set at the server level. While it might be raised a little to accommodate user needs, I doubt it will go up to 300 MB, as Drupal Cloud isn't intended to serve as a multimedia repository. Our recommendation is to use MIT Tech TV to host your videos, and use the embed code to display the video on your Drupal Cloud site. This also allows you to take advantage of the player interface and other features, such as closed captioning support, that are built in to the Tech TV service.
