Is there any plans to put in a "views" module? More to the point I'd like to have a place to upload images and have them display in a table format. I can make a table (I think) but I would like to have it so my PI can upload them himself easily. Is there a way to do that now?

The Views module is included in Drupal Cloud. You can create a custom content type for your image content, then create a view to display those images how you'd like.
I know this isn't exactly what you're talking about, but here's an example of a View that is showing the thumbnails from a custom content type in a grid:
