URL path setting reset when editing webform settings

I have a webform set up which uses a custom URL alias using the URL path settings. I noticed anytime when the settings for the form are edited and saved, the URL path is being reset to the default (same issue outlined here https://www.drupal.org/node/1689744). Is there any way of correcting this behavior?
