Service Sunset
With the launch of the MIT Sites service, Drupal Cloud is being phased out. Effective January 2, 2024, no new Drupal Cloud sites will be created. Students, faculty, and staff are invited to visit sites.mit.edu to create a new MIT website.

Found a solution: While I couldn't find a login option for a non-MIT user in the Adaptive MIT theme, the DLC Theme offers a login block including username and password which works. Seems like a bit of a bodged fix, but it works.
